Born in China, prize-winning violist Yue Yu recorded her debut album with Naxos at the age of 22. She was the unanimously selected winner of Stockport International Young Musicians Competition in 2019. More recently, she became the winner of the 2021 Hindemith Viola Concorso in Salzburg.
Yue currently studies with Thomas Riebl at Universität Mozarteum Salzburg.
